    In this gamebook, set in the fall of 1623 during the Thirty Years’ War, you’ll become a young clothmaker’s apprentice fleeing Hodonín and heading to Ostrava to find your uncle. The story is set against a historical backdrop of war, famine, and uncertainty.

    Gradually, you’ll become involved in events related to the war and family intrigues, and you’ll discover just how difficult life was during those hard times.

    The story was inspired by real events and is based on a historical artifact that is now housed in the collections of the Ostrava Museum.
